The Gables Pub Only three words to say about this show and Ferny is the man to do it.... What a kodak moment indeed! It's been awhile I know, I know... I did the typical webmaster thing. I created a site and then left it for months. I do apologize. Now... the show continues with Humbert... except this time they are leaving Cuba Land (Miami) and heading north. They have been playing in Orlando almost every month, which is great because their fanbase is growing. City Link Music Fest I just have one thing to say about tonight.... although Humbert fans packed the bar to see them and although they sounded great they end up getting shafted for the third year in a row at the City Link Music Fest. "HOW?" do you ask. Well for one thing the bar stage was so small that they barely had space to breath. Then I find out that there was no sound guy or even a decent sound system. Now the only reason I say they were shafted was because I realized that other bands in the fest were given a stage that Humbert justly deserved. Just with knowing that Humbert is a five piece group should have been enough to grant them a better place in the fest. But aside from all this, Humbert, as always delivered a great performance.
Tobacco Road, Downtown Miami Tonight was an extraodinary night. First we had the debutante Cesar on drums. It was a strange night since Izo was there and I could tell in his eyes that the Humbert era for him is now finally over. But in his heart he will always be there. Well now he can see how it feels to be a true Humbert fan. Cesar was great and I am amazed how quickly he adjusted perfectly with the rest of the guys along with the Humbert sound. But here is the juicy part.... they played three new songs!!!! And the crowd was lovin' every second. Hopefully these lovely songs will be on the new album. The titles are as follows: Time Sparkle and sadly a yet to be titled one.
